Stripes & Texture

We're down in Hilton Head, SC this week for Thanksgiving with my in-laws.  It's been a little rainy but at least it's been warm!  We've been very casual and relaxed in our activities.  I pretty much only brought down jeans and tops for layering.  I wore this outfit for shopping and lunch in Old Town Bluffton.  We stopped in this really cute shop, Gigi's Boutique, and I picked up a really nice poncho, which is something that has been on my list for a while.  I am looking forward to sharing it on the blog soon!  I probably won't have another chance to blog so I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Fall Baseball Cap

There's something so fun and casual about throwing on a baseball cap.  I loved the seersucker one I wore during the summertime (see it here) and I love this two-toned gray textured hat for fall.  I found it in the boys section at Marshall's but its adjustable so it fit me too.  I paired it with an open front cardigan, a big patterned scarf, boyfriend jeans, and comfy slip-ons.  Easy outfit for a fall brunch and travel day.  The oversized scarf and cardigan combo also works well for covering up the baby bump a bit during this transition period!

Mustard Yellow Fall Coat

I first had this outfit on without the coat, as in the picture below. But there was a bigger chill in the air than I expected, so I needed to throw on a coat.  I took a look at the pictures and realized something was missing anyway, so I thought this mustard yellow coat would add a nice pop of fall color.  Plus, it is the perfect weight for a fall day and I love the toggle buttons.  I did have a hard time finding a similar style out right now, but I linked a few in a similar color scheme below!

Open Toe Shoes Time

I am so happy that it's finally warm enough for open toe shoes!  I got a manicure and pedicure on Saturday and then happily pulled out these sandals I found at Marshall's last year.  I love the laser cutting and the neutral color.  I also really like the mule shape, which is a big trend this season.  I definitely will be wearing these a lot in the coming months!

White Blazer

I wore this white H&M blazer with boyfriend jeans and pumps for dinner in Barcelona.  They eat dinner later there than we are used to, generally around 9pm or 10pm.  We ate outside at a plaza off of Las Ramblas, which is one of the most famous attractions in Barcelona.  It's a long street with lots of live entertainment, shopping, and dining.  There was a cool breeze, so I threw on my leopard scarf for some extra warmth and my little pink bag for another color.

Military Jacket in Baltimore

We went down to Baltimore this weekend to visit with some of Jon's friends from college and we got great weather on Saturday!  I wore this casual jeans outfit for the Loyola-Lafayette lacrosse game and then for more fun afterwards.  After the game, we headed down to Fells Point for some food and drinks with more friends! Planning for our London & Barcelona Trip

Jon and I are taking a trip to Europe in a few weeks!  We are first heading to London to visit with friends and then moving on to Barcelona, where we rented a really cute apartment on AirBNB.  I'm hoping to keep my packing pretty light since we'll be moving around a bit.  So I started thinking about potential outfit ideas! I don't have these exact pieces; these looks are just ideas I put together as I start thinking about packing.  I do plan to get some leopard flats before the trip, though!

Sightseeing Outfit:  I liked the idea of keeping it casual for sightseeing on a sunny day in Barcelona.  I picked a linen tee with comfy boyfriend jeans and a leather jacket for warmth.  Since we'll be walking a lot, I'd wear leopard flats and a mint cross-body bag to keep my hands free for taking pictures and reading maps!

Dinner Outfit: Some serious mixing of high and low here.  This cobalt blue fit and flare dress is a steal, while the black d'orsay pumps and black and gold clutch are definite splurges.  It like the idea of keeping all the color in the dress with the gold accents in the belt and clutch.

Museum/Lunch Outfit: For the last look, I pictured a cloudy day in London.  I would wear a cropped sweater, skater skirt, and ankle boots while we checked out the Winston Churchill War Museum or Tower of London.  I'd bring an umbrella in case of rain showers!
