I wore this sundress on a warm afternoon over the weekend.  Because this dress has a lot going on with all of the prints, I kept the rest of the look pretty simple.  I paired it with my straw clutch, perforated flats, and bright blue scalloped earrings.  My mom gave me this cute bag for my birthday and I am so excited to wear it a ton this spring and summer!

Daisy

I felt like wearing something sunny and happy yesterday, so I went with this daisy Lilly Pulitzer skirt and added more flowers in my necklace.  The top I am wearing is actually a t-shirt dress, but it is the exact match to the navy in the skirt, so it works well with it.  We started the day out to breakfast (yum, Nudy's!) and ended with a pool party and seeing Godzilla (meh).  Looking forward to more of the same today.  Happy Memorial Day!

 My sister Jenn took these pictures after a tasty lunch at Seasons 52 this weekend.  It was a deceptively nice day.  The sun was shining bright but there was a strong cool wind when we were taking these pictures, hence my hair and skirt whipping around like crazy.    It wasn't quite warm enough for open toed shoes yet (but I am looking forward to pairing this skirt with strappy sandals once it warms up more!).  I also knew I would be walking around a bit, so I wore my comfy black pumps and tied the black in the belt as well.

Slouchy Pants

So I bought these pants in February - they were included them in my February Budget - and I wasn't quite sure how to style them.  I ended up pairing them with this soft top and pumps for work.  I'm glad that I ordered the tall size because I like that they end right at the top of my shoes rather than cropped around my ankles.  I am also on the hunt for some printed slouchy pants.  I ordered these from J. Crew last month but ended up returning them because I didn't love the fit or pattern in person.  I'm thinking about checking out these cute drapey pants or the pixie pants at Old Navy.  I think either one would be really cute with a white tee and jean jacket, like this pin.

So I cut down on my shopping this month because I got a new camera, but I still got a few fun pieces!

My shopping budget is generally $250 per month, so the extra $150 or so is going towards my camera and lens purchase.  I'll be trying to keep my April spending down too.  Although I would like to buy something memorable in London or Barcelona in a few weeks!
