Soft pants and accessories were on my mind this month.  I also wanted to use some giftcards that had been burning a hole in my wallet.  (I also got these satin pajamas from Victoria's Secret with a giftcard - which I love!)  A lot of these pieces got a lot of wear on our trip to London and Barcelona - particularly the soft black pants, mint bag, and leopard Sperry's.  The white blazer has been a great basic.  Now I want to get a coral one!

Skirt Suit

I pulled out my suit and basic black pumps for work travel in Baltimore on Monday.  I had planned to wear a pearl necklace and earrings, but they fell out in the trunk, so I wore this blue-green stone necklace instead.  This blazer is pretty warm so I like wearing it with a sleeveless top, like this purple peplum.  (A good pant suit is still on my clothing needs list!  Although admittedly I haven't made it a high priority yet.)

Being a tourist at Park Guell
So, I realized I never shared pictures from the rest of our time in Barcelona!  I bought some new flats at H&M because I was getting some serious blisters wearing my Sperry's most of the time.  (I forgot my tan flats at home.)  It was good thing I bought these because we did a ton of walking our last few days.  Click through for more pictures from our trip!
We went to the beach!  It was SO nice and sunny.  We took a couple pictures on the beach
and then had lunch on the promenade and enjoyed the view!

Diamond Tile Print Top & Neutrals

Last time I wore this printed silk tee, I paired it with a navy sweater, khaki pants, and dark shoes.  This time I switched it up for a spring work look with a cream blazer, navy cropped pants, and peep toe wedges.  Next time I'll have to pair it with a skirt or maybe jeans for a more casual look.

Top:  Silk Diamond Tee, J. Crew
Blazer:  H&M (simlar at Forever 21)
Pants:  BCBG (similar)

Sisters Post: Springtime Dresses

My sisters, Mary Beth and Jenn, both had cute printed dresses on for Easter Sunday.  Both styles would also work well for Mother's Day or a graduation party.

Mary Beth paired her structured abstract print sheath dress with a white cardigan and black and gold flats.  She also wore fun red wayfarer sunglasses!

Outfit Details:  Dress: Macy's, Cardigan: Boscov's  (similar),  Shoes: DSW

Jenn wore a pretty floral printed a-line dress with a buttoned up 3/4 sleeve cardigan.  The pretty blue color of the sweater picks up on a similar color in the skirt.  She paired it with peep toe ivory heels and a delicate silver necklace.

Olive in Springtime

I wore this outfit for Easter Sunday.  I got this pretty olive dress on Black Friday a few years ago at Anthropologie.  It's actually two pieces: a crop top and full skirt, although I haven't worn it separately.  I think this olive color is pretty season-less.  In the past few years, I've worn this dress for a winter holiday party, a spring rehearsal dinner, and a summertime wedding.  Oh and it has pockets!  Perfect for carrying tissues or lip gloss.  Hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends!  Tomorrow I'll be sharing my sisters' Easter looks.  So be sure to check back for that!

Open Toe Shoes Time

I am so happy that it's finally warm enough for open toe shoes!  I got a manicure and pedicure on Saturday and then happily pulled out these sandals I found at Marshall's last year.  I love the laser cutting and the neutral color.  I also really like the mule shape, which is a big trend this season.  I definitely will be wearing these a lot in the coming months!

White Blazer

I wore this white H&M blazer with boyfriend jeans and pumps for dinner in Barcelona.  They eat dinner later there than we are used to, generally around 9pm or 10pm.  We ate outside at a plaza off of Las Ramblas, which is one of the most famous attractions in Barcelona.  It's a long street with lots of live entertainment, shopping, and dining.  There was a cool breeze, so I threw on my leopard scarf for some extra warmth and my little pink bag for another color.

And We're in Sunny Barcelona!

We started part two of our trip - in Barcelona!  The weather is gorgeous here.  It was a high of 66 today but felt much warmer in the sun.  I wore these slouchy pants I just got from Old Navy with a lightweight graphic tee from J. Crew and my jean jacket.  This outfit was inspired by the look I put together when brainstorming for the trip a few weeks ago.  Check it out here - the jean jacket was a better fit for the warm weather than leather would have been.  But I think this cute Forever 21 was a good find for the Kate Spade purse!

Outfit Details:
Jean Jacket:  Old Navy
T-Shirt:  J. Crew
Pants:  Old Navy
Shoes:  Sperry Top-Sider
Purse:  Forever 21
Accessories: Scarf: Homemade, gift, Sunglasses: TOMS, Earrings: Bauble Bar

Sunday was another great day in London!  The sun was shining all day.  We hit the British Museum earlier in the day and saw the Rosetta Stone and pieces of the Parthenon.  Then we walked from Oxford Circus to Picadilly Circus and eventually made our way to Buckingham Palace, which is where we took these photos!

For our second day in London, I kept things casual with a striped tee and printed scarf.  It was another day with a lot of walking so I wore my Sperry's again.  (Think I forgot the other flats I meant to bring.)

Greetings from London!  Jon and I arrived safely at 10am on Friday morning to a nice and sunny day.  We took advantage of the great weather and toured London by foot.  Our friends Tania and Danny have been such great hosts!  After a nice day of sightseeing, we caught up with some of their friends for dinner and drinks.  Check out some of our pictures from our first day below!

We walked along the Thames River and had a great view of Parliament and Big Ben.

Cropped & Coral

Anna's post on LaurenConrad.com inspired me to wear this look yesterday!  The light layers are perfect for the cool spring weather.  Layering is an easy way to incorporate the crop trend without showing any skin.  Last time I wore this sweater I wore it with a high-waisted skirt, which is another way Anna recommends.

Outfit Details:
Sweater:  ASOS (on sale)
Shirt:  NY & Co., old
Pants:  Loft Slim Bootcut (similar)
Heels:  Nine West Flax Pumps, Macy's
Bag:  Michael Kors, Macy's
Gold Leaf Necklace:  Forever 21 (similar)
